On November 8, 2006 Chris had the opportunity to speak at the ETNA - Edgewater Triangle Neighborhood Association - block club meeting.

On October 28, St. Gertrudes held a candidates forum. The audience gathered had an opportunity to hear from and ask questions of all the candidates running for 48th Ward Alderman. Also speaking were Jan Schakowsky, Harry Osterman, Rich Whitney, Dorothy Brown and a number of others running for office.

On Sept. 9, 12 volunteers joined Chris at the home of Jeff Bevans to put together a mailing of 1000 to folks in the Ward.
